Progress breeds patience.

Marketing is a lot easier, a lot more fun, and a lot less stressful when you’re patient. And it’s a lot easier to be patient when things are working—or at least *can* work.

To make sure your marketing can work, you’ve got to manage three resources: your time, your money, and your enthusiasm. Run out of any one of those and your marketing stops.

So focus your time on your highest value (to your customers!) actions. Focus your money on things that pay off over time, and for a long time. And focus your efforts on marketing you like doing, so you never want to stop.

The secret to being patient is making progress. By making progress possible.
