Ever write an email and, immediately after clicking the send button, see a typo?

That’s why email apps have “Undo Send” features that don’t *actually* send your email until a few seconds after you push the button. That gives you time to have second thoughts and cancel it.

And this is actually one of the reasons we rarely publish content on our clients’ behalf, and recommend that they manually publish content instead of using a scheduling tool.

Now, do *all* of our clients manually publish? No, and we use scheduling tools for some.

**But, most of the time, we recommend you manually publish, yourself.**

Why? Because you’re going to have second thoughts. You’re going to see something, right at the last second, that you can improve or adjust to fit the medium, the time of day, or the context it’ll be seen in.

That all-too-human instinct to second guess at the last moment is actually helpful when publishing content.

**And if you schedule it way in advance or have someone else do it for you, you’re missing out on the opportunity to improve it.**

As David Ogilvy once said, “It’s never too late to improve an ad.”

**Don’t deny yourself the opportunity to improve your content.**
