# The promise of your process — Kelford Labs Daily

We delivered a set of marketing messages to a client last week.

The project had a fixed deadline, and we didn’t get all the information we needed to complete the work until two days before.

**But we weren’t worried, and we didn’t rush.**

How?

**In fact, we guarantee every client we work with that we’ll *never* miss a deadline. Never.**

And that’s pretty rare for marketers, who are notorious for delays and excuses.

But our process for creating marketing messages has been used and tested to such a degree that we *know* what we can do within what timeline. And if we say we can do it, we can.

**But this isn’t about me: It’s about you.**

The question I have for you is this: What is so certain, so fixed, and so tested about your process that you can *promise* something no one else can? Or that few in your industry would dare to?

Other marketers are occasionally shocked to hear about our deadline guarantee, but that’s *our* guarantee.

They should have their own. *You* should have your own. Based on your own process, your own position.

But my point is the same: Your process is what allows you to make *promises*.
