**Marketing is a *complex* game.**

But that doesn’t mean it’s *complicated*.

“Complex” means interwoven, interconnected.

“Complicated” means confusing, unclear.

So we need a way to deal with the complexity of marketing—the fact that everything we do connects to something else, everything we do affects something else—without getting confused or disoriented by all the moving pieces.
