Professional writers have a secret most people don’t know:

You just need to write it again.

When you write a LinkedIn post and hate what you’ve written, the lesson isn’t to delete it and walk away.

**You just... write it again.**

Or when you’re struggling to come up with a good opening line for your homepage, you shouldn’t agonize about getting *one line* perfectly right.

You should write 10 bad lines.

And then 10 more.

Because people who write for a living actually *re-write* for a living. Most of the typing time is done re-writing something that wasn’t good enough the first time.

The secret to great marketing writing, then, isn’t about doing a good job once.

**It’s about doing a decent job enough times that a good one appears.**

So don’t give up.

Just write it again.
