For a few years now, I’ve tended to publish the [weekly editions of Kelford Labs](https://kelfordinc.com/tag/weekly/) on Tuesdays (with the [Dailies](https://kelfordinc.com/tag/daily/) going out Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri).

I used to write the draft on Sunday, review and edit on Monday, and then publish the next morning.

But that doesn’t work for me anymore. And during the last few weeks, when weeklies either didn’t get published at all, or were sent out later in the week, I’ve felt this strange sense of guilt. Like I’m dropping the ball.

I’m not, though. I’m just changing my schedule.

**And that’s... okay.**

Sure, some readers were used to getting it on Tuesday, and now, at least a little bit, their morning routine has been altered. And that’s unfortunate.

But it’s not a crisis, and it’s not worth feeling guilty over or forcing myself to rush the writing.

The point of the newsletter is to demonstrate value by *delivering* value. *When* it gets delivered is somewhat less important.

**As long as it’s valuable whenever it arrives.**

So this is my reminder to you, by way of reminding myself, that the point of your content is to demonstrate value.

Which requires delivering value.

Which requires putting it out into the world for others to receive.

**If that means changing your schedule to make it work for your current context, so be it.**

That’s not a failure.

But [stopping altogether](https://kelfordinc.com/all-you-have-to-do-is-not-stop-kelford-labs-daily/), or producing something of poor quality, certainly [would be](https://kelfordinc.com/the-easiest-way-for-marketing-fail-kelford-labs-daily/).
