How many services are you currently promoting on your website?
Now, which single one, if you took it away, would take most of your value with it (measured by revenue, number of clients, or work satisfaction)?
As in, if one of your services just... disappeared and you couldn’t offer it anymore, which one’s disappearance would cause the most damage to your business?
I suspect, when I asked you that question, one service came to mind.
The big question, the one I ask expert advisors all the time, is this:
Is that service the one you promote the most?
Or are you mixing it into a bigger offering, like it’s the highlight of a vast buffet?
Problem is, if you’re not promoting your single most valuable service as if it’s your single most valuable service, your clients don’t realize how valuable it is.
They don’t see how good you are at providing it.
They just see a mixture of many other services, and they wonder which, if any, are the good ones.
Because buyers assume nobody’s good at everything, and advisors who claim to offer a little bit of everything only diminish their own value in the buyer’s mind.
So if you could think of a service that’s most valuable, do this:
Make it the one you market most.
On June 30th, I’m hosting a LIVE Q&A session and walkthrough of our Marketing Rangefinder framework.
Spend an hour with me and a few fellow entrepreneurs and expert advisors as we talk through how to know what to say in your marketing, your messages, and your content.
RSVP here, and feel free to send this to a friend or colleague who’s struggling with what to say.
Kelford Inc. are content marketers for expert advisors. If you’re struggling with what to say and where to say it to attract your ideal clients, we’ll show you the way.
